New Senator Making a HUGE Trade…What Does She Know?
The US Congress has NEVER been popular, and this is a great reason why!
One BIG thing about Congress that PISSES ME OFF… Letting people in congress trade stocks… without restriction!
IT’S CRAZY!
We have laws in this country preventing company executives from trading stock on insider information.
YET - nothing prevents congress from doing the same thing.
I think congress needs to spend more time representing us… not filling their pockets with ill gotten gains.
Most people don’t know this small fact. Everyone in congress is required to disclose the trades they make.
If Congress can use their power to make money in the market, then we can too!
Check this out…
Ashley Moody is a brand new Republican Senator from the state of Florida.
She’s only been in Congress a few months but she’s not wasting any time making trades.
What I found interesting was her purchase of around $500,000 worth of Applied Materials (ticker: AMAT) stock.
Check this out… Senator Moody’s net worth is estimated around $4.5 million. So her investment in AMAT is more than 10% of her net worth!
That’s A LOT of money to put into one stock!
Applied Materials produces equipment used to make semiconductors.
Their biggest customers are semiconductor manufacturers like Intel (ticker: INTC) and Taiwan Semiconductor (ticker: TSMC).
The Trump administration just announced a $100 billion deal with Taiwan Semiconductor to build chip manufacturing plants right here in the United States.
Taiwan Semiconductor happens to be one of Applied Materials largest customers!
It makes me wonder if Senator Moody knows something about this deal?
Did you know, Senator Moody serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee on Intellectual Property. She also serves on the Joint Economic Committee who’s responsible for providing ideas on improving the US economy. She also sits on the Senate Committee on Border Management, Federal Workforce, and Regulatory Affairs.
Look, maybe this is just a crazy story of a new Senator putting over 10% of their net worth into a single stock… or maybe she knows something.
What I find funny is, Senator Moody messed up.
She bought into Applied Materials too early!

The stock is down more than $30 from where she bought it.
So if you want to swoop in and buy stock like Senator Moody, you can get in at a much lower price.
Let me know if you’re buying these shares.
